Inspired by a plant that generates new shoots from its own leaves, Gaia Fugazza’s large-scale sculpture explores the profound bond between the vegetal and human worlds.
Installed in a traditional barn in Val Taleggio, the work stems from a project developed in collaboration with NAHR – Nature, Art & Habitat Residency, following the artist’s residency in the valley.

GAMeC presents an activity dedicated to …And the Animals Were Sold by Rachel Whiteread, first shown in 2023 at Palazzo della Ragione and reinstalled fr this occasion in the museum spaces.
An invitation to reflect on the relationship between absence and presence, the silence of memory, and the vitality of the community that inhabits the city.
The experience guides participants through a path interweaving community values, traces of history, and spirituality—placing the city at the center as a space where memory and everyday life coexist and nurture one another.

Activity for adults
A program of dialogue and reflection for parents, combining the languages of contemporary art and children’s literature.
Across three themed meetings co-led by a museum educator and a psychologist—each centered on an artwork and a picture book—participants explore different aspects of parenting: from community support to emotional challenges, from rediscovering oneself to balancing trust and control.
The museum becomes a space for exchange and personal growth, where art and illustrated stories inspire reflection and dialogue, enriched by psychological insights based on developmental and attachment theories. An opportunity to share experiences, connect, and find new tools for support.
