THE EAGLE OF DALMINE
Free guided tours
Fondazione Dalmine

Fondazione Dalmine opens its doors for a guided tour dedicated to the history of the eagle by Giannino Castiglioni, installed in Dalmine in March 1939 and later moved, after the war, to the park of the Colonia Montana Dalmine in Castione della Presolana.

The visits offer the public an opportunity to explore the history and symbolic meaning of the bronze sculpture, now reinstalled at Fondazione Dalmine. The story of this work, which inspired Maurizio Cattelan’s BONES exhibited at the former Oratorio di San Lupo, intertwines with that of Seasons, the exhibition promoted by GAMeC, creating a renewed narrative that spans memory, art, and contemporary culture.
